About Clear Conscience

Who runs it

Clear Conscience is run by Miles and based in Farnham, Surrey, GU9. We clear houses, flats, garages and offices, and do complete house moves and man and van work across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.

Where it started

Before starting Clear Conscience, Miles spent two years doing house clearances for the British Heart Foundation, the UK's biggest charity. That work showed how much of a typical house can be sold, donated or recycled rather than skipped.

We run the business the same way now. 98% of what we collect is kept out of landfill.

Licence and insurance

We're a registered waste carrier, licence CBDU565714. We're fully insured for goods in transit and public liability, so your belongings and your property are covered while we work.

Charity partners

We have raised over £20,000 for Phyllis Tuckwell and over £10,000 for the British Heart Foundation. We also donate to Sue Ryder.
